Flavour: Enormously spicy bouquet - fine aniseed note, pepper, ripe yellow fruits, a hint of sandalwood and flowers. On the palate, spicy, smoky, but never intrusive. A silky, delicate, filigree wine - not a puffer, a whisperer.

Fermented for 10 months in used Burgundy barrels (228 l), then matured for another 40 months in barriques. This wine does not bear a vintage year, but consists of the harvest of one year at a time. The current cuvée comes exclusively from the 2009 harvest. An incredibly good wine!

Our tip: Treat it like Burgundy and serve it with scallops or fish!
