Tasting Notes:
Powerful and spicy, this is a wine that is fully aged in Chablis oak barrels for at least 8 months. Exclusively vintage Pinot Noir from the 'Matière' sub-parcel, its flattering perlage on the nose confirms the silky structure on the palate. Complex aromas of candied citrus fruits, mirabelle plums, cinnamon, and a hint of spices are rounded off by a vinous and delicately peppery finish. As a gastronomic wine par excellence, this wine will fully unfold its grandeur throughout an entire meal, but also enhance characterful cheeses such as Epoisse or Munster. Serve it at a temperature above 12°C, ideally in large white wine glasses.
