Powerful and spicy, this is a wine that is aged entirely in Chablis oak barrels for at least 8 months. Exclusively vintage Pinot Noir from the "Matière" sub-parcel confirms the silky structure in the mouth with its flattering perlage on the nose. There are complex aromas of candied citrus fruits, mirabelle plums, cinnamon and a hint of spices, rounded off with a vinous and delicately peppery finish. A gastronomic wine par excellence, this wine will unfold its full greatness throughout a meal, but will also enhance cheeses full of character such as Epoisse or Munster. Serve at a temperature above 12° and preferably in large white wine glasses.
